The hardest part of my job was not being appreciated for all that I did. My co-workers were awesome! We definitely worked as a team, they were my family away from home. Management was not all that they were said to be when the position was offered they played a lot of favoritism, which I did not like. ![]() I learned the importance of time management organization. I would also call to conduct a benefit investigation to make sure treatment or surgeries were covered and relay that information to the lead tech and to the patient. Then I would submit authorizations for future pending appointments and check the status of authorizations that were submitted and in pending status. Then I would go to the day that I was verifying insurance for and made sure the chart was prepped and ready to go. A typical day at work would to clear my inbox and submit authorization requests for any upcoming add on appointments or surgeries. ![]()
